The University, under the leadership of its visionary founder Chancellor Swami Satya Prakashanand Saraswati ji (an epoch-making man of principles, great intellect, wisdom, kind hearted and devoted to the welfare of human society) proposes to induce a sound education framed to prepare students for the world of tomorrow with the zeal and spirit of service. The university is being set up with the object of providing high quality value-based education to all students, in particular those from the poorer section of the society and to propagate and promote Indian culture and patriotism, leading to an integrated holistic development of every student who never fails in achieving his/her goals under adverse circumstances as mentioned in the following shloka from Mahabharat parva 5.33.20
यस्य कृत्यं न विघ्नान्ति शीतमुष्णं भयं रति
समृद्धिरसमृद्धिर्वा स वै पण्डित उच्यतो |
The university shall strive to develop the whole personality (body, mind and spirit) of the students in an ambience of freedom and personal responsibility). The mission of university is to create a transformational educational experience focused on deep disciplinary knowledge, problem solving, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. It will be attained by creation of an atmosphere in the classroom where the students can venture on a journey of intellectual transformation through exposure to new ideas, new ways of understanding and new ways of learning. We will work on a new way of working that will enable us to tackle long-standing issues facing our society and our planet and allows us to nimble when faced with unexpected and challenging threats. Fielded with optimism, ingenuity and a sense of responsibility we seek to accelerate our purposeful impact in the world. University is committed to create and sustain the conditions that shall enable its students to experience an unparalleled educational journey that is intellectually, socially and personally transformative.
We hope that students of the university will begin to fashion their lives by gaining a sense of what they want to do with their virtues and talents, assessing their values and interests and learning how they can best serve the world. We shall invocate our students to aim high, strive to control the destiny, be accountable for their actions and exercise responsive stewardship, be inclusive, treat each other with dignity, value excellence, quality and service, foster innovation and creativity, treat each other with dignity and respect and promote best citizenship.
