Fee Refund Policy

Surajmal University, Kichha, Uttarakhand, maintains a strict and transparent fee refund policy in accordance with its academic and administrative regulations. Applicants and students are advised to read and understand the following terms before applying for admission:

1. No Refund After Admission Confirmation

Once a candidate’s admission has been confirmed by the University, no refund of the admission fee or any part thereof shall be permitted, regardless of the reason for withdrawal. This applies even if the student decides not to attend the programme after admission confirmation or discontinues thereafter.

2. Refund Not Applicable in Provisional Admissions

Candidates who are granted provisional admission due to awaiting results or pending document submission must ensure compliance within the stipulated time frame. Failure to submit the required documents or fulfill eligibility criteria will lead to cancellation of the admission, and in such cases, no refund will be processed.

3. No Refund Due to Non-declaration of Qualifying Exam Results

If a student is admitted based on the condition that the result of their qualifying examination will be submitted later, and the student is subsequently found ineligible due to poor performance or failure in the exam, the admission shall stand cancelled and no refund of fees will be made.

4. Non-Submission of Mandatory Documents

Candidates must provide all necessary documents (as listed in the admission guidelines) at the time of application or admission. If any required document is missing or found invalid, the University reserves the right to cancel the admission without any refund of fees paid.

5. Disciplinary Cancellations Are Non-Refundable

In the event that a student’s admission is revoked due to misconduct, violation of University rules, or any form of disciplinary action, the fee paid shall be forfeited. No appeals for refund will be entertained in such cases.

6. Incomplete or Late Applications

Applications that are incomplete, incorrectly filled, or submitted after the last date mentioned in the admission notification will be rejected without further consideration. Any payment made towards such applications will not be refunded under any circumstances.

7. No Refund for Voluntary Withdrawal

If a student, after securing admission, decides to withdraw voluntarily from the academic programme, they will not be eligible for any refund of fees paid. This applies even if the withdrawal is due to personal reasons, transfer to another institution, or dissatisfaction with the course.
